THE FEATURES OF OUR IDEAL DIGITAL CAMERA
(and what is wrong
for us)
1-A camera with a not standard battery (proprietary) may be better today but in about a
5 - 6 years You may trash that camera finding no more in the market
that type of battery. (Think to the battery of Your cellular, or the cartridge
of Your Printer).
So we want strongly a camera with use of both battery (standard
& not standard).
I have the first digital camera (1995) still
working with std battery. I have a Rolleiflex of about 50 years (luckily
with no battery) still working.
Buy a camera with battery not standard if You have a
lot of money or if You are a photographer who changes the cameras every 3
years.
2-Must support all types of memory card because those may be more
convenient in price (or no more supported in a few years).
Must have Type I and type II of memory card.
3-Must have USB 2.0 (a port with high speed)
4-Must do films 640 x 480 at 30 fps so the camcorders will disappear (?)
5-Must Have Direct Print (So You dont need a Pc to print)
6-Must have all automatic (for the principiant) and all manual (for the
technicians) commands
7-As today state of art must start from 5 Megapixel
8-Must have an lcd screen of at least 2", with antiglare and the screen
must be protected.
9-Must have no Plastic, but aluminium and no rubber to shut the ports
10-Must have the screw for tripod in metal not plastic.
11-Must have a port for the auxiliary Flash.
12-Must do the "Panorama " picture (stitch for assist You)
13-Must do the 3D picture
14-Must do Bracketing and Multibracketing (Generate multiple version of a
picture altering a setting every picture so You choose the best)
15-Must do continuous shutter mode
16-Must have a connection to the TV
17-The camera must have the highest quality of the image. The camera can have
many features as do the coffee in the morning or wake You up, but
what will remain is only "A PICTURE" and its quality, poor,
average or of high quality. And You must only LOOK FOR A CAMERA WITH
THE HIGHEST QUALITY. This parameter is the first You must search in
a digital camera because all will look only at the picture.
But how to judge the quality of the image ? You will find the reply under in the
chapter "HOW TO CHOOSE A DIGITAL CAMERA"

HOW TO CHOOSE A DIGITAL
CAMERA
You have seen at the reviews of the cameras and now You
have narrowed the field to two or three cameras but now You are
uncertain over one or another and You write desperately to the Forums where some
guys tell You "Take This, no take that or decide by yourself".
But now You have the instrument to decide which camera buy.
You have only to go to one or more site and see all the photo taken by one or
another camera.
You have to look at thousands and thousands of pictures taken by the cameras You
choosed so You can verify the quality of the pictures in all the
situations. You can see pictures bad or fantastic and verify the colors and the
macro pictures of every cameras. After this work You will have the ideas more
clear and will choose the camera You like more.
This is the more important verification over TRUE PICTURES and not over
words and words.
